Apple

Apple

Apples secured their place in history in the Garden of Eden and have long been associated with things both good and evil, from the poisoned apple given to Snow White, to Greek mythology where Mother Earth presented a tree laden with golden apples to Zues and Hera on their wedding day, and the Swiss story of William Tell. Through the ages, apples have been viewed as a fruit of romance, traditionally eaten as a desert, not only to aid digestion but as a cunningly disguised aphrodisiac.
